Growing up I was a huge fan of rolf's cartoon time (or whatever it was called). One of the main reasons I probably got into art.
I was gutted when I found out he was a nonce

Had a beard and was from Bassendean
Not sure how many more red flags were needed.
Showed no remorse and never apologised.
Had heard independently from 3 or 4 female friends who had met Rolf over the years that he was a GROPER who would try it on.
The only other person I'd heard the same amount of similar stories about was Gary Lineker

I remember when Bluewater first opened they had an art gallery with some of his paintings, I said to my mate 'if only I could afford one of them, it'll be worth a fortune in years to come'.
I never was any good at speculation....

Got his “just desserts” 70 years too late but at least endured some jail time and disgrace.
Classic narcissist. Fair to say he wasted a lot of oxygen living that long. Hopefully a nice fire down below waiting for him so as to speak.

Before Rolf was a known wrong'un I knew someone who had some art of his and he encouraged me to invest claiming when Rolf perished it would only go up in value. I have it next to Glitter's signed guitar.

His obit in the Times was interesting apparently Rolf was a junior backstroke champion in Australia I thought it was a euphemism at first but it wasn't

I was on one of his shoes as a kid along with a couple of hundred others.
All I remember was being bored shitless all day and Rolf picking the pretty girls to go up on stage with him whilst us chaps were stuck at the back twiddling our thumbs.
We didn't even get paid for it and even had to bring a packed lunch along.
It put me off showbiz for life that.

Why is it that the likes of him and Gary Glitter get destroyed, and rightly so, but the likes of Michael Jackson and Pete Townsend are given a free pass?
